The girls fought a lot and were cold with each other while filming scenes, despite the fact that their characters were supposed to be best friends.
"It pushes the limits for ABC Family." However, Osment adds that any raunchy bits from the show (which is produced by "High School Musical" alum Ashley Tisdale) are put in there for good reason -- comedy.
"Whenever our writers write something a little risqué or sexy, it's never for the effect of it being sexy, it's always for the effect of it being funny," she explained.

But 22-year-old Osment -- whose "Montana" audience has aged right along with her -- isn't particularly concerned about the show's more risque content alienating the network's core audience.
"It is physical [comedy] and it is a sitcom, but it’s older and it’s sexy and it’s funny, and it’s a different style," she told MTV News.
After working in several television films in her childhood, she gained fame for co-starring as the character Gerti Giggles in Spy Kids 2: The Island of Lost Dreams and Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over.
She went on to co-star in the Emmy Award-nominated She also starred as Cassie in R. Stine's The Haunting Hour Volume One: Don't Think About It and the Disney Channel Original Movie, Dadnapped as Melissa Morris.
