on this period i came of the pill and got back with my husband around the 22nd march we didnt have sex untill a week after ( forgot to go back on the pill) Could the dating scan be this perfect with my dates and still be wrong i have had two more scans since and they have said the baby is small and they are going on my scan date as the due date 7th jan 2010.

Hello everyone i'm new to this so bare with me :-) By my due dates i'm due the 21st October 2010, but when i went for the scan they told me my due date is the 31st October 2010 which can't be right lmp is 14th Jan i split from ex husband on the 5th February and the last time i had sex with him was the 1st of Feb. this is all causing a lot of problem with ex who thinks i must of been playing away when i wasn't.

When you calculate your due date from your last period you know you aren't pregnant for at least the first few days of it because you're on your period and then it may be a further 2 weeks before you ovulate, depending on your cycle if you get me so at the beginning after that period you're not actually pregnant. I dunno if that made sense......mebbe someone else can put it in better words? They put me over a week ahead which was impossible as I knew the date of conception and I was still on my period when they reckoned I conceived plus I was in the process of moving at the time too (didn't just have one big moving day spread it out over a week) so the only way my 12 week scan was right is if it was immaculate conception in which case I will sell my story to the paper and never have money worries again lol.

katy I went into my dating scan thinking I was 12 weeks and 3 days but I was only 11 weeks and 3 days.

Again, at 12 weeks when l had my NT scan their size difference made my Dr think that Twin1 was downs (she wasn't) as she was by now approx 1cm smaller than her twin sister. Twin 2 was slightly longer and even now, she is a little taller her than her sis.
